Goochland Community Theatre is casting its next show; PORTRAIT. This is a new work, and will be staged in a World Premiere on March 2023. All roles are volunteer.

Please Note – There are no age specifics. Anyone (18+) is welcome to audition for any role. The intention of this production is to reflect the diversity that is in American friend groups.

NICOLE – Lives in Brooklyn, NY. She’s an artist and paints to free her mind.

CLOE- Nicole’s best friend.

BILLIE- Nicole’s neighbor.

SAM – Nicole’s “guide.”

So, WHAT IS PORTRAIT ABOUT??? – Nicole is an artist in the big city, but she is struggling emotionally and with her place in the world. Our protagonist is coping her way through life, with a few supportive loved ones with their own quirks, when she is suddenly faced with a reality that upends her entire life. How does one go on with their life when it is completely different than it was the day before?
