Tell us a little about you!
I’m a theatre and film actor and writer from Richmond. I love to travel, play video games, crochet, knit…. and I’m learning to sew!
Who is your favorite Addams Family member and why?
My favorite Addams Family member is Morticia. I love how effortlessly elegant she is!
How is your character like you? How is he/she different?
Alice and I both love a good rhyme. We’re both a little anxious. And I, too, think it’s very cute that Fester is in love with the moon.
Alice and I are also very different from one another. She’s more intense than I am. More dark.
What do you love about your character?
I love Alice’s transformation. (Come see the show to find out what that entails!)
Who should come see this show?
Everyone should come see this show!
This is GCT’s first musical production. What was the first musical that you ever performed in and what was your role?
I was in the ensemble for the Jungle Book Kids in middle school! I played a tree.
What is your favorite song from a musical to sing in the shower/car
In the shower, it’s probably Notice Me Horton from Seussical. In the car, it’s Ya Got Trouble from The Music Man! Different places, different vibes!
Aside from this one, what is your favorite role you’ve ever played?
My favorite role I’ve ever played is Annelle in Steel Magnolias, which was also a Goochland Community Theatre production. That show brought me so much joy.
Besides this one, what is your favorite stage show?
My favorite show is a tie between two Sondheim greats — Into the Woods and Sunday in the Park With George.
When you have a five-minute break during rehearsal, how do you spend your time?
I talk to Meagan!
What is the last thing you do before you step out on stage?
I do a quick speed run of my first few lines, then take a deeeeep breath.
What is your favorite Halloween candy?
Candy corn and the pumpkins that taste like candy corn!
What is your favorite scary movie?
I love scary movies. I can’t name just one! My favorites are The Fog, Scream, and Rear Window. Some others that come into a very close second place are Train to Busan, the VVitch, and The Omen. My 8 year old self would never forgive me if I also didn’t give a special shoutout to Scooby Doo on Zombie Island.
