This special class gives young singers the opportunity to shine on stage! Students will learn holidays songs of their own while also joining the adult cast for select numbers in the big winter show “The Holiday Stage”. Along the way, they’ll gain performance skills, build confidence, and experience the excitement of singing in a live holiday show. It’s a joyful opportunity to celebrate the season through music!

Classes begin Tuesday November 4th and continue each Tuesday 6:30-8:30, Wednesday 7:10-9, Thursday 6:30-8:30 in November through the first week in December (except for Thanksgiving Thursday). Tech week students will meet 6:30-9 Monday Dec. 8th through Friday December 12th culminating in The Holiday Stage performance on Saturday December 13th.

In this engaging and interactive youth theatre class, taught by our Youth Program Director, Dillon White, and Producer Crystal Neilson-Hall, students will dive into the exciting world of theatre by learning the basics that every actor needs to know. From understanding stage directions to mastering the art of improv, this class will provide students with a solid foundation in theatrical performance.

But that’s just the beginning! Students will also have the chance to let their creativity shine as they write and direct their very own short pieces to be performed in our student showcase. This is an incredible opportunity for young artists to explore storytelling, develop leadership skills, and see their vision come to life on stage.

As an added bonus, our class will lead right into auditions for our upcoming Youth Production, Puffs. To help prepare, we’ll cover audition techniques, so students feel confident and ready to take the next step in their theatre journey.
