Our community theatre is embarking on an ambitious venture to build a state-of-the-art theatre facility, an epicenter for artistic exploration and community connection. This building will serve as a hub not only for exceptional performances but also as a dynamic educational center catering to individuals of all ages and interests.
Theatre Space
The centerpiece of this project is a purpose-built theatre equipped to host a diverse range of performances, from plays and musicals to dance recitals and cultural showcases. Our plans also encompass hosting musicians, engaging talks, and organizing movie nights. The theatre’s design emphasizes audience comfort and an immersive experience.
Visual and Performing Arts Education

One of the biggest requests among the Goochland Community is a Cafe. A welcoming community cafe within the facility will provide a cozy and inviting atmosphere for individuals to gather, converse, and build connections. It will offer a space for light breakfasts and lunches, post-performance discussions, and a central meeting point for artists, students, and community members. The cafe will also feature a modest stage for open mic nights, poetry slams, karaoke, and a diverse array of entertainment options.
Inclusive Clubs for All Ages
As part of our vision, the building will host clubs tailored to diverse age groups and interest. From children’s drama clubs and teen improv groups to adult painting, knitting societies, and senior poetry circles, to bridge clubs and D&D, these clubs will cater to the specific interests and developmental stages of various age brackets within the community.
