The play “Little Women” follows the four March sisters—Meg, Jo, Beth, and Amy—as they
navigate their childhood and come of age during the Civil War era. Their father is away at war,
and their mother, Marmee, is at home keeping the family together. The story explores their
dreams, challenges, and relationships, highlighting Jo’s aspirations as a writer and the family’s
journey through joy, heartbreak, and hope as each sister discovers who she was meant to
become.
